With so many garage door opening and closings over the years of installation, changes in temperatures throughout the seasons, plus different weathering elements like rain / ice / wind / salt / dust, garage door torsion springs inevitably weaken and break over time. This can lead to a big headache for homeowners and business owners alike. When a spring breaks, the main access point to your home or business is now non-functional and disrupts your daily routine. At Garage Parts Plus - because we know that you want to get back to your regularly scheduled program - we strive every day to send out replacement torsion spring orders as quickly as possible. We keep hundreds of garage door torsion spring sizes in stock to keep you, your family, and your business running smoothly.
All DURA-LIFT torsion springs are manufactured from Class 2 high-tensile, oil-tempered spring wire, meeting ASTM A229. All of our torsion spring wire is coated for improved corrosion resistance and easier handling. Both 10,000 "standard" cycle and 25,000 "high-cycle" springs are available in left or right wind, and in precut or longer lengths. Both the winding and stationary cones are professionally installed for safe operation.
Our highest value is our customer’s safety. Torsion springs are designed to lift specific weights and should be replaced with springs of the same size and wire gauge for safe and optimal operation.
